Chandon Blanc de Blancs NV shows great finesse on the palate. There is a lively bead with fine mousse and aromas of fresh bread dough, green apples and melons along with a nice baked (almost apple pie) short pastry. Lengthy and delicious. Made from Chardonnay - alongside its bright, softly acidic flavours of Fuji apples, pears, nectarines and Meyer lemons, comes an aroma of fresh lime blossom and fennel. This release of Chandon Blanc de Blancs was the perfect opportunity to show off a truly Australian style of Chardonnay using the traditional method.
